It has always been a tradition for our students to celebrate Book Week in Kingsley International School. The joy of remembering and honouring the works of different authors and illustrators, the pleasures of reading and being transported to another world. The experience seemed surreal at times.
The Year 4s have faithfully worked at their level best on their 3-D Diorama Book Report during this year’s Book Week. They reconstructed one of their favourite scenes in a shoebox by utilising recycled materials. It is amazing to see how resilient and resourceful our students are even during tough times.
Let’s not allow the MCO to dampen their spirit. Reading and writing does not cease even during troubled times and this is why we utilize this opportunity to show the works of our students.
