Preparing Kids For Life

The Student Development Programme complements academic study to broaden our student’s worldview while cultivating healthy attitudes and good attributes. These experiences help kids develop and demonstrate leadership, initiative, discipline, reflection, communication skills, respect, and empathy. At the end of their education at Kingsley, kids go on to become grounded, self-motivated and mindful individuals who are confident of their place in the world.

REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCES INSPIRE KIDS TO MAKE REAL CHANGE IN THE WORLD

The world is a classroom and experience, the best teacher. Learning Journeys is a series of real-world experiences for primary and secondary students which enrich academic learning with hands-on exploration or allow them to tackle real issues in the places they visit. Primary level students go on day excursions, while secondary level students participate in overnight camps. The school also offers students in Years 8 and 9 opportunities to participate in International Educational Tour with partner schools which provide a unique platform to broaden their world view.

Tailored to specific areas of interest and learning needs of each group of students by experienced educators, every Learning Journey inspires:

Critical & creative thinking
Improved communication skills
Collaborative learning skills
Independent inquiry

Learning Beyond

That Classroom

Learning is limitless for students whose learning is not limited to the classroom. Extracurricular activities at Kingsley provide avenues for the physical and social growth so important for a well-rounded student life. Besides Physical Education and regular sports days where teams from the four school houses train or compete, there are clubs and communities through which your child can gain new experiences and perspectives while having fun.
