Q1. What is Kingsley International School?
A1. Kingsley International School is a part of the Kingsley EduGroup, with the vision of creating a global education platform where student are fostered with great characters, strong values and high achievements. Kingsley International School offers the National UK Curriculum for EYD to Year 9 students while the Cambridge IGCSE Curriculum is offered to the Year 10 and 11 students to both international and local students.

A2. Kingsley International School started in September 2011.

A3. Kingsley International School is located at Kingsley Hills, Putra Heights, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia a serene township that provides an excellent conducive environment for our child to study in.

Q4. How accessible is Kingsley International School?
A4. Kingsley International School is about 40 minutes from KLIA, 20 minutes from Sunway Pyramid, 20 minutes from Subang Airport and 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur.

Q6. How will my child be assessed (placement test) during the application process?
A6. To register into Kingsley International School, they need to go through Kingsley’s Placement test. We accept application all year round. Each applicant is invited to tour  our campus during which our Customer care officers usually provide campus tour and placement test aim to assess the applicant’s English proficiency and Mathematics capabilities.

Nursery & Reception: An interview is conducted by our Head of Early Year Department, which includes simple tasks to be completed by your child.
Year 1 & 2: A class sit-in from 10.00am to 2.00pm (one day only) for your child to join our current Year 1 or 2 students in real life class environment, which includes a simple test to assess your child’s literacy and numeracy proficiency. During non-schooling day, a simple test will be conducted by our Principal or teachers and no class sit-in is required.
Year 3 – 6: A placement test consists of English and Mathematics test papers will usually takes around 2 – 3 hours to complete. The placement test will usually begin at 9.00am (from Monday to Friday, except weekend and public holidays).
Year 7 – 11: A placement test consists of two subjects test papers (English and Mathematics) is conducted to assess your child’s proficiency in these subjects. The test will usually takes around 2 – 3 hours. The placement test will begin at 9.00am (from Monday to Friday, except weekend and public holidays).

A7. Yes. Kingsley International School accepts both local and international students.

Q8. What is the curriculum offered at Kingsley International School?
A8. We principally offer curriculum levels ranging from Nursery to A-levels primarily based on curriculum developed by University of Cambridge International Examinations and National Curriculum for England and Wales. We also offer ECA Sports and club/societies.

A10. Every year, the academic year begins in September for Term 1, January for Term 2 and April for Term 3.

A11. Our school hours are scheduled as follow:
Nursery & Reception: 9.00am – 1.45pm
Year 1 – Year 11: (Monday) 7.40am – 3.30pm  (Tuesday – Thursday) 7.40am – 3.00pm (Friday) 7.40am – 2.20pm

A12. Our campus is built on a land area of 6 acres, including the Annex building.

Q13. What is the maximum capacity for the campus?
A13. The campus can accommodate capacity more than 2600 students. There are more than 100 classrooms to accommodate all our students.

Q14. What are the facilities available at Kingsley International School campus?
A14. The upcoming Annex building  features a range of facilities which include 2 hostel blocks, a olympic swimming pool, orchestra rooms, music rooms, dance rooms, futsal courts, playgrounds, 1 multipurpose hall, gymnasium, language labs, science labs, fine dining cafeteria, archery arcade and IT/Multimedia labs.

 We have our appointed transporters who fetch our students from different nearby areas such as Puchong, USJ, Putra Heights, Kota Kemuning, Subang Jaya, Bukit Jalil, Sungai Besi, Mont Kiara, and certain areas of Petaling Jaya.
