ECA Science Club 2021

The fermentation process through ‘preservation’ started in the olden days when the sailors traveling long distances had to carry fermented fruits and vegetables with them to ensure long term survival in their travel. Kimchi is a spicy and sour fermented Korean dish made from various ingredients. During the Extra-curricular Activities (ECA) Science Club for secondary students, our students learnt the ways to preserve kimchi and the fermentation process. At ML Kingsley International School, we encourage extended experiential learning in the classrooms learning about the traditional cultural art and experiences that have become priceless through the ages.
